After I posted my disappointment with the candle, Eira's Karishma got in touch. We had a wonderful conversation about the "failed candle", the idea behind my feedback, and why small businesses are better than big, after which she insisted on replacing the candle. I resisted, but I didn't resist forcefully enough, I think. So she sent a replacement, anyway, immediately. The new candle is bright, cheerful, and has a subtle aroma. It's lighting up our life, for sure. Thank you, Karishma for personally attending to the feedback. Happy New Year to you.
The candle refused to light up like a respectable candle :-) At best, it produced a small glowing light. We tried to coax a bigger flame (removing extra wax), but to no avail. One corner of the house had a dark Christmas!
