Candle Safety & Care
- 1. We recommend allowing the candle to reach a full melt pool on the surface of the candle on its first burn. This will allow the candle to burn more evenly and consistently thereafter
- 2. It is important to trim the wicks of your candles between each burn if required. Ensure to remove any build-up on your wick or trim the length of the wick between 3-5 mm before you light your candle again
- 3. Invest in a candle trimmer to aid your candles to maintain a steady and consistent flame
- 4. Avoid placing your candles in areas with a draft like near windows, directly under fans or air conditioners. This will cause your candle flame to burn faster
- 5. Reuse and repurpose! Our candle jars are mindfully designed to be repurposed. Toxic-free and scratch-resistant, they can either be reused in the kitchen pantry to store spices or in your vanity room to hold your hair ties
- 1. Never leave a candle unattended. Always have it lit within sight
- 2. Ensure the surroundings are clear of any loose paper, curtains, or other items that may be flammable
- 3. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets
- 4. If you find that your candle flame is too high, switch it off immediately and check if the wick needs a trim before re-lighting it
- 5. Do not burn your candles for periods longer than 3-4 hours at a time as this could cause the glass to become hot
- 6. Wait until the candle cools completely before picking it up or replacing the lid
- 7. We recommend not to burn the candle all the way to the end but to maintain 1/4th of an inch of wax before swapping it for a new one
